Empowering Minds, Transforming Lives

As a therapist, I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults. My background in teaching yoga informs my creative, mindfulness-based approach to mental health. I believe in allowing the client to set the pace and use a variety of techniques, including talk therapy and creative modalities, to best suit their individual needs and interests.

I feel honored to be a part of your or your child's journey towards feeling better and achieving goals. Every human holds the capacity to fulfill their own potential and I am here to help you take those steps forward today. My perspective is that living beings have a natural drive towards balance, order, and growth and I am here to help you move towards that.

Empowering You to Thrive

I believe that prioritizing self-care leads to a more balanced lifestyle and can prevent dis-ease and dis-order. Many people associate self-care with hygienic practices only, but there is a lot that can be done to care for your mind as well as your body.

As a therapist and yoga instructor, I incorporate a mind-body approach to my therapeutic work with clients. If you're ready to take a step towards self-compassion, you've come to the right place.

I specialize in both mental health and substance use disorder therapy and use mindfulness-based practices, somatic work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients on their journey.

I am available to work with you individually, with your partner, or with your family. Let's take this journey together and find the balance you need.

Empowering Your Journey to Wellness

By acknowledging and expressing ourselves authentically, we open ourselves up to real, meaningful growth. However, in our everyday lives, it is not always easy. Therapy provides a unique opportunity to connect with and embrace the challenging aspects of ourselves, ultimately leading to a richer, more fulfilled life.

I work primarily with adults and young adults, offering individual counseling from an existential/humanistic perspective that incorporates elements of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. With a background in leadership and career development, I enjoy helping clients identify their strengths and find ways to reach their goals. I have a special interest in addressing anxiety, depression, career transitions, relationship challenges, and men's issues.

My goal is to create a trusting and accepting relationship, where you can feel comfortable being yourself, and partner with you to make changes that align with your goals and values.

Empowering Growth Through Understanding

Life is a journey that we all get to shape in our own way. However, it can also bring challenges and sadness that we may not have planned for. I am here to walk alongside you on your journey, provide a listening ear, an encouraging word, and remind you that you are not alone. My goal is to create a safe and trusting environment where we can work together to identify your strengths and overcome any obstacles that may be preventing you from reaching your full potential.

With 17 years of experience working with different age groups and families in various settings including schools, child welfare, community mental health, outpatient treatment, and transitional living facilities, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. My therapeutic approach combines the strengths of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Client-Centered Therapy (CCT) to empower clients and address individual needs. I also use a variety of interventions such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dance Movement Therapy to support the therapeutic journey.
